During this festive time of year there are a number of Christmas markets that pop up throughout London where you can really soak up the festivities, enjoy the delicious food, watch a show or two and enjoy a glass of mulled wine. Out of all the pop up markets, here are our favourite!
Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland is back for a tenth Christmas, and it’s even better than the last one. Entry is completely free, so you can stroll through the Christmas markets, soak in all the atmosphere and get yourself into the festive spirit. Winter Wonderland includes fairground rides, a Santa’s grotto, Christmas markets, two circuses, and the biggest outdoor ice rink in the UK, and is suitable for anybody.
Open from November 18th until January 2nd, and between 10am to 10pm daily.

The Southbank Centre Winter Festival is back again this year, and it’s as festive as ever. There are all sorts of Christmas markets, shows and performances which even includes a contemporary circus. On top of that there is a bit of rock and roll thanks to the ‘Million Dollar Quartet’ where you get to hear some Johnny Cash and Elvis amongst much more!
Christmas in Leicester Square is the newest addition to Christmas in London this year. The square is home to a traditional Christmas market, a Santa’s grotto, and a vintage Spiegeltent which is a wooden venue that is home to all sorts of Christmas shows.
It is open from November 11 2016 to Sunday January 8, and the nearest tube station is Leicester Square.
